about us
Established in 2017 by MMA fighter and Pan Am Champion Gemma Sheehan, Girls Who Fight is the first female only Mixed Martial Arts program that is dedicated to providing effective self defense training and a meaningful character building experience. Our accomplished female instructors help students of all ages and fitness levels learn how to stand up for and defend themselves, while building confidence, mental toughness, discipline, and courage. Our program has provided life changing results to girls and women who struggle with shyness, bullying, anxiety, self-esteem, making friends, and overall lack of direction or interest. We are committed to providing a program that not only leaves students with the priceless knowledge of how to defend themselves from a physical threat- but also leaves students with the key virtues that will serve them for the rest of their lives and ensure their success in all domains.
